For some time now, several readers of the blog have suggested that I monetize it by integrating advertising in order to have "a return on investment" of what I post here... Here is what I think about it.
Monetizing the blog: that's a NO!
I gave this idea a lot of thought, and I finally decided against it.
The main reason is simple: I want to preserve the most pleasant reading experience possible for my readers. Ads are often intrusive, sometimes poorly targeted, and they distract from the content. Most of the time, they almost prevent access to the content altogether, especially on smartphones.
This blog has always been about sharing ideas, experiences, and resources in a clear and distraction-free environment.
I also believe that advertising can damage the relationship of trust I have with my readers. I prefer that attention be directed solely to my articles, rather than to banners or sponsored messages that don't necessarily reflect my values or the content of my blog.
Finally, I believe the value of this blog lies in the quality of the articles published here, your loyalty, and the pleasure I derive from writing and sharing, rather than any profits I might make from it.
For all these reasons, I have decided to keep this space ad-free, so that everyone can continue to browse it peacefully, without compromising the experience or the integrity of the content.
This decision will never be reversed.
